The Gut-Brain Axis Breakthrough: 5-HTP and Trang Phuc Linh Plus for Irritable Bowel Syndrome Relief.

5-HTP, an active ingredient sourced from medicinal herbs of African origin, is a crucial component in the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). The ingredient, extracted from the seeds of the Griffonia simplicifolia herb, plays a vital role in converting tryptophan into serotonin, a neurotransmitter that affects various bodily functions.

IBS is a common gastrointestinal disorder characterized by symptoms such as abdominal pain, bloating, diarrhea or constipation. While the exact cause of IBS remains unclear, many gastroenterologists believe it stems from neurological factors. Prolonged stress, anxiety and insomnia can lead to central nervous system disorders that affect intestinal nerves through the brain-gut axis, causing abnormal contractions in the colon.

To address these symptoms and improve overall wellbeing for individuals with IBS, Vietnamese scientists have developed Trang Phuc Linh Plus – a product made from 5-HTP combined with other medicinal herbs like arachnids, astragalus and white dahlia known for their stomach-strengthening properties. The result is a powerful remedy specifically designed for spastic colon disease or IBS.

Research conducted by Hanoi Medical University has shown that Trang Phuc Linh Plus tablets effectively regulate intestinal motility and reduce colon spasms while restoring mucosa in the digestive tract. A survey at the end of December 2023 revealed that 98% of users were satisfied with the product. Trang Phuc Linh Plus is available in over 10,000 pharmacies nationwide and through major chains like Long Chau, An Khang and Pharmacity.

It’s important to note that Trang Phuc Linh Plus is not medication and should not be used as a replacement for prescribed treatments. The product has been awarded advertising license No. 816/2021/XNQC-ATTP by the Ministry of Health and Food Safety Department.
