Trump incorrectly referred to the doctor while bragging about his mental health status

On June 15, former US President Donald Trump delivered a campaign speech in Detroit where he proudly discussed his own cognitive abilities and criticized his predecessor Joe Biden’s mental clarity. During the speech, Trump suggested that Biden, who is 81 years old, should be tested for mental capacity. However, when referencing a 2018 cognitive ability test administered by White House doctor Ronny Jackson, Trump mistakenly called him Dr. Ronny Johnson, a congressman from Texas.

Despite the error, Trump praised Dr. Jackson, who later became a Texas congressman and one of his staunch supporters. In the midst of their ongoing feud over age and mental acuity, both men accused each other of being unfit to hold office. While Biden faced accusations of dementia despite the White House’s denial, Trump expressed reluctance about his birthday and criticized Biden’s performance as President. Despite their differences in age and political views, both men remain at the forefront of the 2024 presidential race.
