In 2023, Krajicek, a Texas A&M Athletics Hall of Fame inductee, achieved the No. 1 spot on the ATP Doubles Rankings alongside his partner Ivan Dodig. Together, they secured five tournament wins and a Grand Slam Title at the French Open at Roland Garros. This came after losing in the Paris title match in 2022.
Krajicek posted a 47-19 record in doubles and held the No. 1 ranking for 13 weeks, including 10 consecutive weeks at the end of the season. He amassed 7,130 doubles points during this season, surpassing his partner Dodig by 510 points and even outpacing Rohan Bopanna and Matthew Ebden by 740 points to tie for third place on the rankings.
In addition to their success on court, Krajicek and Dodig also reached the semifinals of the U.S. Open in May of that year. This was an historic moment for Krajicek as he became the first Aggie to finish a year as the top-ranked player in an ATP ranking. With their impressive performance throughout the year, Krajicek and Dodig cemented their positions as one of the top doubles teams in tennis today.
