On Sunday, June 16, a group of prisoners at pre-trial detention center No. 1 in Rostov-on-Don took two employees hostage and demanded transport, according to TASS sources in law enforcement agencies. The attackers were armed with knives, sharpeners, fire axes, and rubber batons taken from the guards. Negotiations are currently underway to free the hostages.
