On Tuesday, the Sinj police announced that they had completed their criminal investigation into a 19-year-old young man who was suspected of committing the crime of Endangering life and property by means of a generally dangerous act or means. The investigation began after a shot from a rifle hit the young man during a hunting trip in Krušvar on November 19. The young man was helped and it was determined that he was seriously injured.
As a result of the investigation, a criminal complaint has been filed against the young man to the competent state attorney’s office. It is alleged that he endangered his own life and property as well as those of others by engaging in an act or means that posed an unreasonable risk to their safety.
The Sinj police stated that they will continue to work closely with law enforcement agencies at all levels to ensure that such incidents are properly investigated and prosecuted in accordance with the law.
