Next week, the Schuyler County Veterans Service Agency is hosting a Lunch and Learn event specifically for veterans who struggle with technology. This event will take place on Wednesday, April 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Human Service Complex, Room 120, in Montour Falls. Both veterans and their families are welcome to attend.
During this event, certified IT professionals will be available to answer any questions that attendees may have about cell phones, laptops and other technology. Lunch will also be provided for those in attendance. To register for the event, individuals can call the Schuyler County Veterans Service Agency office at 607-535-2091 or by cell phone at 607-228-7624.
The Lunch and Learn event is part of the Dwyer Peer Support Project, a program designed to help veterans connect with other veterans in a supportive environment. The program aims to help veterans cope with the effects of PTSD and brain injury. For more information and local news, weather, sports, and streaming video, visit WETM – MyTwinTiers.com.
