Miss Sweet Potato Pie World, a children’s entertainment and education center that specializes in hosting parties and celebrations, has opened its doors at Marketplace Mall. Founded by Dianne Snowden-Johnson, a teacher in the Rochester City School District who has been portraying Miss Sweet Potato Pie at events in the community for over 20 years, the business is located near the mall’s east entrance.
The grand opening event featured appearances by Miss Sweet Potato Pie, DJ music, food, and party favors. The regular business hours for Miss Sweet Potato Pie World are from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, closed on Sunday and Monday.
