Survey Results and Site Visit: Kentucky Science Center’s Interests in Bowling Green Spark Excitement

The Kentucky Science Center has expressed interest in opening a location in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and it seems that the community is also interested in this idea. Telia Butler, the downtown development coordinator of Bowling Green, stated that the city and Kentucky Science Center asked locals to participate in a survey posted on the city website and Downtown BGKY Facebook page in order to assess the needs of the community. Surprisingly, the survey received 26,000 responses, far exceeding the expected 50.

Butler mentioned that she conducted a site visit with the board on Tuesday to further explore the possibility of a Kentucky Science Center location in Bowling Green. Additional details about this exciting development will be shared by News 40 as they become available.

The Kentucky Science Center is known for its interactive exhibits and educational programs for people of all ages. The center’s mission is to inspire curiosity and innovation through science education and outreach. If a location were to open in Bowling Green, it would provide an excellent opportunity for students from local schools to learn about science and technology in an engaging way. It would also attract visitors from surrounding areas who are interested in learning more about science and technology.
