Sunday’s game set to go on without Brandin Cooks

The Dallas Cowboys will be missing one of their receivers for their upcoming home game against the Jets. Brandin Cooks, the wide receiver, has been dealing with a knee injury that has kept him out of practice all week. The injury is believed to be a sprained MCL. Despite not practicing, Cooks was still listed as questionable for Sunday’s game. However, multiple reports on Sunday morning indicate that he will not be playing in Week Two.

In addition to Cooks’ absence, the Cowboys will also be without left guard Tyler Smith and safety Donovan Wilson. Both players were listed as doubtful to play on Friday’s injury report. With these players sidelined, the Cowboys will have to rely on other wideouts such as CeeDee Lamb, Michael Gallip, KaVontae Turpin, Jalen Tolbert, and Jalen Brooks to step up and contribute in Sunday’s game.
