On Monday, September 18th, there were several volleyball matches played in different conferences. In the Central Lakes Conference, Sauk Rapids defeated Big Lake in three sets with scores of 25-16, 25-19, and 29-27. Ava Athman had an outstanding performance for Sauk Rapids, earning 15 kills and also recording 10 digs. Stella Lambaere contributed with three aces for the team.
In the Central Minnesota Conference, Paynesville swept Osakis in three sets with scores of 25-8, 25-18, and 25-11. Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa also won their match against Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg in three sets with scores of 29-27, 25-23, and 25-17.
In boys soccer, ROCORI defeated St. John’s Prep with a final score of 6-2. In another match, Central Minnesota Christian won against Little Falls with a score of 2-1.
In girls soccer, in the Central Lakes Conference, ROCORI emerged victorious against St. John’s Prep with a score of 2-0. Brooklyn Hofer and Lily Torborg scored the goals for the home team. In another match, Little Falls won against Apollo with a final score of 1-0.
