Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin has announced the dismissal of offensive coordinator Matt Canada. Tomlin expressed gratitude for Canada’s efforts and wished him well in his future endeavors. Although it hasn’t been officially stated who will be calling offensive plays moving forward, quarterbacks coach Mike Sullivan and running backs coach Eddie Faulkner are reportedly taking over Canada’s duties.

The Steelers have been struggling with their offense this season, leaving fans demanding change. Second-year quarterback Kenny Pickett has not shown any improvement, and the team has had trouble moving the ball week after week. Despite these struggles, the Steelers are still in contention for a spot in the AFC playoffs and are expected to play crucial games in the coming weeks.

Tomlin recognized that an improvement in the offense was necessary to win these important games, prompting him to make this change to address ongoing issues on the field.
