Paul Frederic Anderson, a 44-year-old man, passed away at UPMC Altoona after a brief illness surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Mansfield, Ohio, and grew up with two brothers, David and Michael. His parents, Terry and Marci Anderson, were devastated by the loss of their middle son.
Paul graduated from Hollidaysburg Area High School in 1998 and went on to earn a degree in economics from Duke University in 2002. In addition to spending time in Hollidaysburg, Paul had homes in Austin, Texas; Pittsburgh; and parts of Maryland. He was an avid sports fan and loved basketball, which he played with his brothers growing up. He also cherished the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State Nittany Lions.
