The Florida Panthers have announced a multiyear agreement with Scripps Sports to broadcast their hockey games locally in South Florida for free. This agreement will allow fans in West Palm Beach, Miami/Fort Lauderdale, and Fort Myers to watch all the action on various TV channels starting this fall.

In West Palm Beach, WHDT-TV, Channel 9 will air all locally produced games. In Miami/Fort Lauderdale, WSFL-TV, Channel 39 will broadcast all locally produced games. For Fort Myers, Scripps Sports will announce the broadcast channel in advance of next season.

This new agreement allows Scripps Sports to televise all locally produced Panthers games, including preseason, regular-season, and round one of the postseason on cable, satellite, and over-the-air television. The partnership between Scripps Sports and the Panthers aims to reach a wider audience and grow the sport of hockey in the South Florida region.
