Guests of Brevard Zoo can now enjoy Science Sundays, a new series designed to beat the heat and teach something interesting. This program is free with Zoo admission and will take place on select Sundays in July and August from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the air-conditioned Nyami Nyami River Lodge.
During Science Sundays, guests will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities led by knowledgeable experts. Each Sunday will feature a different theme and set of activities, including animal behavior demonstrations, interactive exhibits on conservation, and environmental science. Interactive chats will also be held at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to provide guests with more opportunities to learn and ask questions.
The goal of Science Sundays is to inspire curiosity and promote a love of science among guests of all ages. Whether you are interested in animals, conservation or environmental science, there is something for everyone at this fun and educational experience this summer!
