The Cox Science Center and Aquarium is hosting ‘Tis the Season for Science, an annual event running from November 24th to January 7th. This year’s event will feature daily live science shows, seasonal laser shows, and special event programming at the Cox Amphitheater. In addition, visitors can enjoy various hands-on educational exhibits, a 10,000-gallon aquarium, digital planetarium, Discovery Center for Pre-K children, conservation-themed Mini-Golf Course, and outdoor science trail.
One of the center’s standout displays is the “Journey Through the Human Brain,” showcasing cutting-edge neuroscience research. The center offers admission prices of $24 for adults, $20 for children, $22 for seniors, and free for members.
