Samsung Introduces AI Technology to Enhance Efficiency and Comfort in Air Conditioning Systems

Samsung Electronics has launched its AI Auto Comfort technology in its air conditioning devices, promising to offer automatic maintenance of optimal comfort conditions and energy savings. As the demand for air conditioning increases with rising temperatures, the residential air conditioning market has experienced a 40% growth in 2023 compared to the previous year. A study by Samsung Electronics Air Conditioner Europe (SEACE) found that only 55% of Spaniards have air conditioning in their rooms, while 73% have it in larger spaces of the house.

According to the study, factors such as longevity, energy efficiency, and sustainability are crucial when selecting air conditioning for homes. Smart technology is attractive to 77% of respondents as it helps optimize energy and water consumption and reduce waste. Samsung’s ‘SmartThings’ app allows users to monitor power consumption and adjust settings to manage both temperature and power consumption in one app.

Samsung’s windfree air conditioners have an energy rating of A++ or higher, making them up to 50% more efficient than A+ rated units. With over 38% of consumers considering purchasing air conditioning in the next twelve months and increasing heatwaves, the residential air conditioning market is expected to continue growing in 2024.

The AI Auto Comfort technology enables intelligent control of air conditioning systems without user intervention. The technology optimizes different modes based on environmental conditions, personalizing usage patterns for efficiency and convenience. Samsung’s equipment is designed to create a calm atmosphere that promotes rest by distributing fresh air quietly and smoothly.

Overall, Samsung aims to provide users with optimal conditions while reducing energy consumption and waste by integrating AI technology into its air conditioning devices.
