Argyle complete season-long loan deals for Gyabi and Tijani.

Plymouth Argyle have secured season-long loan deals for midfielder Darko Gyabi and forward Muhamed Tijani. The club has brought back Gyabi, 20, who previously joined from Leeds United in January of this year. Meanwhile, Tijani, 23, comes from Slavia Prague in Czech Republic and there is a possibility of a permanent transfer after the loan period ends.

Wayne Rooney, the newly appointed manager of Plymouth Argyle, expressed his excitement at welcoming both players to the team. Regarding Gyabi’s return to the club, Rooney stated that he had received positive feedback about his previous stint with Argyle and was eager to bring him back due to his attributes as a midfielder. He believes that Gyabi fits well with the style of play he is looking to implement at Plymouth, highlighting his ball skills, power, and athleticism.

In addition to Gyabi’s signing, Rooney also revealed that Tijani’s addition further strengthens the team’s attacking options. Tijani has qualities such as size, athleticism, ability to run behind defenders and hold-up play. Rooney noted that Tijani has experience in the Europa League competition and is eager to improve at a young age. The coaching staff is looking forward to working with him to enhance the team’s offensive capabilities.

Gyabi made 10 appearances for Argyle last season before a groin injury sidelined him in March forced him to return to Leeds for the remainder of the campaign.

Overall, these two signings could greatly benefit Plymouth Argyle as they look towards building a successful season in League One.
