Ronald Jones, the operating back who briefly joined the Dallas Cowboys, has been released by the group with no even playing a single game. This selection was created as quickly as Jones’ suspension was officially lifted. He had been suspended for the initial two games of the season due to violating the NFL policy on functionality-enhancing substances.
In the course of coaching camp, Jones also had to deal with a groin injury, which resulted in him missing out on the preseason games. While he was chosen by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the second round of the 2018 NFL draft, his standout season came in 2020. In the course of that year, he recorded 192 carries for 978 yards and seven touchdowns.
Prior to his short stint with the Cowboys, Jones spent his initial 4 NFL seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Nevertheless, his playing time was restricted when he joined the Kansas City Chiefs final season.
