USMNT Climbs to 11th in FIFA Men’s World Rankings, England Drops to Fourth Position

The USMNT has climbed to 11th in the latest FIFA men’s world rankings, following their victories in the CONCACAF Nations League over Jamaica and Mexico in March. This move up two places comes just behind Croatia who complete the top 10. Meanwhile, England has dropped to fourth in the rankings after failing to secure a victory in their last three games, drawing with Belgium and losing to Brazil during the March international break.

Germany, who will host the European Championship this summer, remain in 16th place in the rankings. Argentina, the reigning World Cup champions, are still ranked as the world’s number one side, having lost only one of their last 12 games. France remains in second place, while Belgium has moved up to third after being unbeaten in their last 13 games.

Indonesia has seen the biggest climb in the rankings, moving up eight places to 134th, while Vietnam suffered the biggest drop, going down ten places to 115th. The FIFA Men’s World Rankings Top 15 include Argentina, France, Belgium, England, Brazil, Portugal, Netherlands, Spain
