The coverage of the entire track was excellent, with the addition of professional riders in the commentary booth being a standout feature. While some camera angles could still be improved upon, such as those taken from too high up during the ski jump into the final area, overall it was refreshing to see that WB listened to feedback and made changes to enhance the viewing experience.
The slow-motion replays were exceptional, greatly enhancing the excitement of the finish area. The drone footage was also very effective in capturing unique angles of the action. It was particularly impressive to see Reece make an appearance as a future TV personality.
While there are still areas for improvement, such as improving camera angles and stopping cuts to shots of team managers mid-run, it’s clear that WB is making efforts to enhance their broadcast and provide a better viewing experience for fans. Overall, WB deserves credit for taking PB comments into consideration and making positive changes to improve certain aspects of their broadcast.
