Samsung has recently announced an update to its artificial intelligence assistant, Galaxy AI, which will be available for several of its smartphone models, including the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series. This update will be released alongside the One UI 6.1 software update on March 28.
Galaxy AI was launched in January 2024 and is designed to enhance everyday tasks through artificial intelligence technology. With this update, users will have access to new features that aim to streamline and improve their mobile experience.
Some of the new features included in the update are simultaneous call translation, an interpreter function for real-time translations in 13 languages, writing assistants and wizards, and photo editing tools for easier image manipulation. Users will also benefit from search enhancements with Circle to search with Google, as well as a transcription assistant for converting audio into text.
Antonio Quintas, Samsung’s Senior Vice President of Mobile Experience for Latin America, expressed his excitement about the update: “Galaxy AI is bringing a new era of mobile artificial intelligence, empowering users to explore the endless possibilities of this technology.” The update aims to democratize access to artificial intelligence features for a broader audience, enabling users to leverage innovative tools and capabilities.
