On Sunday, a cargo trailer containing $13,000 worth of tools was stolen from the 3700 block of Cascade Vista Drive in Redmond. The owner of the trailer, a small business owner, told NewsChannel 21 that his insurance will not cover the theft, leaving him to bear the loss and purchase new tools. He is taking a week off to figure out how to proceed.
The Redmond Police Department is seeking the assistance of the public in locating the stolen cargo trailer. Despite canvassing the neighborhood for surveillance footage, the police have not been able to identify a suspect at this time. Anyone with information regarding the stolen trailer is urged to contact the Redmond Police through the non-emergency dispatch number at 541-693-6911, referencing Case No. 2024-11264.
