Top Players at Turning Stone Win Record $6.2 Million in World Series of Poker Payouts

The World Series of Poker event at Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, New York State, has set a new record with its 12-day tournament. The event awarded $6.2 million in total winnings, double the minimum guarantee, and attracted over 16,000 entries from players representing 38 states and four Canadian provinces. Ethan Bennett of Brooklyn was crowned the WSOP Main Event Champion and won $298,546 and his first-ever Gold Ring.

The tournament marked the third year that Turning Stone has hosted World Series of Poker events, making it the only casino in the Northeast to host a WSOP circuit event. This prestigious gaming event joins fewer than 20 casinos across the country in providing this opportunity. The World Series of Poker is known as the largest, richest, and most prestigious gaming event globally, having awarded over $3.8 billion in prize money since its inception in 1970.
