In recent news, twenty-five student-athletes from various schools were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® women’s soccer teams.
Out of these teams, five students from St. Thomas University were recognized for their academic excellence and athletic achievements: Sofia Caballero, Lexi Huber, Lissa Mizutani, Mariah Nguye, and Camryn Rintoul. Additionally, six players from the South Dakota State University team were honored: Kayla Anderson, Hayley Lindaman, Kaycee Manding, Avery Murdzek, Laney Murdzek and Jocelyn Tanner.
The College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® is an annual recognition program that recognizes outstanding academic and athletic achievements by college student-athletes in select sports. The program considers a variety of factors when selecting players for the teams including GPA, class load, leadership roles on their teams and community service involvement.
