Tucson’s history is marked by the good results stories of Latino entrepreneurs across generations. From Jimmy Lopez, whose grandparents began Mi Nidito, to Syrena Arevalo, who showcased Hispanic authors in her Barrio Books retailer, these people have identified strategies to turn their passions into thriving corporations. Company leader Rob Elias is focused on supporting these establishments, specially following the challenges brought on by the pandemic.
