R&B sensation Usher is set to headline the 2024 Super Bowl halftime show, where he will perform a medley of his biggest hits. The show will feature classics such as “Yeah!”, “Love in This Club”, “U Remind Me”, “Burn” and “Confessions”. Usher was chosen to perform by Jay-Z, whose company Roc Nation produces the event.
Jay-Z has praised Usher as an incredible artist and showman, praising his flawless singing voice, exceptional choreography and ability to connect with audiences on a deep level. Usher himself is thrilled about the opportunity to perform at one of the most high-profile events in sports and entertainment. He calls it an “honor of a lifetime” and says it’s been on his bucket list for years.
While performing at the Super Bowl halftime show may not be a paying gig, it’s still an incredibly expensive undertaking. Despite its short running time, the production costs can be significant. However, performers are often rewarded with increased record sales and streaming figures after the show. For Usher, this means that his new album COMING HOME is about to reach a whole new audience, translating into a very nice payday after all.
