Texas Rangers and Bally Sports Southwest Reach Broadcast Agreement for 2024 Season

The Texas Rangers have announced their television broadcast agreement for the 2024 season, with Bally Sports Southwest set to produce and air 153 regular season games, plus four spring training games. These games will also be available for streaming on the Bally Sports app and at BallySports.com.

The Rangers expressed their excitement at the agreement, saying, “We are thrilled to partner with Bally Sports Southwest for what should be a very exciting year for our club.” They also highlighted their ongoing efforts to enhance and expand how fans can view Texas Rangers baseball in the future.

There will be some changes in the broadcast team this season, with Dave Raymond returning for his eighth season as lead TV play-by-play voice. Analysts replacing C.J. Nitkowski include former Rangers players David Murphy, Mike Bacsik Jr., and Dave Valle. Jared Sandler will do play-by-play for select games, and Emily Jones and Lesley McCaslin will also return as in-game reporters.

Bally Sports’ spring training coverage begins when the Rangers face the Cincinnati Reds in Cactus League action on March 14 at 8 p.m. They will also air a World Series rematch against the Arizona Diamondbacks on March 16 (3 p.m. in Surprise), a March 18 game against the Seattle Mariners (3 p.m. in Surprise), and a March 25 matchup against the Boston Red Sox at Globe Life Field.

Regular season coverage will kick off with the Rangers’ March 30 game against the Chicago Cubs at home. The Dallas Morning News has more Rangers coverage available online or through its mobile app
