The Rams have officially welcomed back Safety John Johnson for another season, after he signed a new contract with the team. Originally drafted by the Rams in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Johnson had been a free agent since March before returning to his former team.
During his four years with the Rams, Johnson proved to be a solid contributor, appearing in all 17 games and starting in eight of them in 2023. Although he admitted that he may not have met expectations during his time with the Cleveland Browns, Johnson has shown that he can make an impact when given the chance.
Now that he is back with the Rams, Johnson will have the opportunity to continue making an impact on the team for another year. He is set to return as a valuable asset to the defense and help lead the Rams to success in 2024.
