Racine Area Manufacturers and Commerce (RAMAC) annually recognizes the excellence and achievement of its member organizations and individuals for their roles in business improvement, growth, innovation, and community support. As the Racine area chamber of commerce, it is essential to acknowledge those who are driving Racine’s economy forward by providing goods or services, creating jobs, or making investments in the community.
The annual RAMAC Business Awards dinner and celebration took place on April 25 at Roma Lodge, with a theme of “Building Our Future Together.” This theme symbolizes solving problems and working collaboratively to have a more significant impact on the Racine business community. Businesses in Racine came together to celebrate shared purpose, vision, and partnerships. This year, RAMAC partnered with the Racine Unified School District to introduce new awards from the Academies of Racine.
The 2024 business award recipients included various categories such as the Apollo Award for New and Innovative Business, Judy Moungey Award for Youth Apprenticeship, Nonprofit of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Manufacturer of the Year, Businessperson of the Year, and several awards from the Academies of Racine.
