Propane Education & Research Council Appoints Experienced Business Leader to Drive Sustainable Transportation with Propane Autogas

David Walters, a seasoned business development and sales leader with over 25 years of experience in the energy industry, has been appointed as the new director of autogas business development at the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC). In his new role, Walters will focus on developing and implementing strategic market plans to increase the adoption of propane autogas and support research and development of innovative products in the industry.

As the national sales manager at Atlas Copco Compressor, Walters led business development efforts across multiple regions in North America. His extensive experience in hydrogen and RNG makes him well-equipped for his new position. Tucker Perkins, president and CEO of PERC, expressed confidence in Walters’ ability to drive sustainable energy solutions in the transportation sector.

Walters is excited about his new role at PERC and is passionate about sustainability. He invites collaborators to connect with him to explore potential partnerships and opportunities to drive the adoption of cleaner, more sustainable energy solutions together. Walters holds a bachelor’s degree in communications and business from Cabrini University (Villanova) and is taking over from Steve Whaley, who recently transitioned to the role of alternative fuels manager at Blue Bird Corp.
