This investment is part of the bipartisan CHIPS and Science Act and will support the construction of two manufacturing hubs, one in Clay, N.Y., near Syracuse, and the other in Boise, Idaho. The video above provides more information on this announcement by the Biden administration.

During his visit to Syracuse to highlight the benefits of this agreement, President Biden will deliver remarks at 2 p.m. EDT and showcase the achievements of this investment with Micron. This agreement is a significant step towards strengthening the semiconductor industry in the United States and ensuring its competitiveness in the global market.
