With Jackson and Cameron Sutton as short-term solutions, the team is in need of a long-term, high-upside running mate for Joey Porter Jr.
Morrison is praised for his big-time talent, as he has recorded nine career interceptions over two seasons of starting. In 2023, he had 13 pass breakups, tying for eighth in the league. As the draft unfolded, Miller pointed out that Morrison was a better pick than any of the remaining receivers on the board. However, he did mention Isaiah Bond as a player who could potentially climb the ranks and become one of the top receivers in the country by the time of the draft.
