During the week of April 25 to May 2, Orange County health inspectors ordered several restaurants and food vendors to temporarily shut down due to various health violations. One such establishment was the kitchen at Bahia Corinthian Yacht Club in Newport Beach, which was closed on May 1 due to a cockroach infestation but reopened on May 2 after the issue was addressed.
Zankou Chicken in Anaheim, Orange County Pizza in Rancho Santa Margarita, and Golden Rose Mediterranean Cuisine in Buena Park were among the other establishments ordered to temporarily shut down during that week due to issues like cockroach or rodent infestations.
CTB Eatery in Garden Grove, John’s Incredible Pizza Co. in Buena Park, Royal Wok in Orange, Cho Tam Bien in Garden Grove, and Seoul Haus in Irvine were also on the list of closures during that week, each for various health violations.
San Clementa Sushi Co. in San Clemente was closed on April 30 due to a rodent infestation but was able to reopen on May 1. Another restaurant, Texas Pit Bar-B-Que in Lake Forest, was also closed on April 30 for undisclosed reasons.
