Science Museum Oklahoma vying for Newsweek’s Best Science Museum award

Science Museum Oklahoma (SMO) has been nominated for Newsweek magazine’s Best Science Museum award. Since its establishment in 1958, SMO has been a hub for science education, captivating Oklahomans and visitors with its interactive exhibits, discovery-based activities, astronomy shows, Science Live demonstrations, educational outreach efforts, and special events.

The museum is set to open a state-of-the-art planetarium in the fall of 2023. Sherry Marshall, John E.
