Newly Launched Courthouse Brew Co. in Worcester Starts Operation

Courthouse Brew Co., positioned in Worcester, Massachusetts, is the brainchild of Mark Gawlak and Danny Whalen, two attorneys with a shared background in the restaurant sector. Following years of functioning as bartenders and waiting tables, Gawlak and Whalen decided to pursue their passion for brewing beer. They enrolled in classes, honed their capabilities via practice batches, and ultimately opened Courthouse Brew Co. at the historic Whitmall Mill house on Brussels Street in June.

Setting themselves apart from the competitors is a objective that Gawlak and Whalen take seriously. They think in developing a distinctive and enjoyable expertise for their shoppers. Regardless of the presence of other properly-established breweries in Worcester, like Wormtown and Higher Superior, Courthouse Brew Co. embraces its underdog status.

The COVID-19 pandemic posed challenges and delayed the opening of Courthouse Brew Co., but it eventually opened its doors at the finish of June. The co-owners, each practicing attorneys, managed to balance their legal careers with the demands of operating a brewery via productive time management.

Courthouse Brew Co. currently boasts a diverse beer choice, featuring their signature pineapple-cinnamon IPA referred to as “Attractive Nuisance.” With their organization up and operating, Gawlak and Whalen are excited for the future. They hope to continue creating exceptional beer and expanding inside the regional neighborhood.
