The UH Amherst Health Center recently opened its doors, providing the community with access to top-notch healthcare services in one convenient location. Located next to the UH Amherst Beaver Creek Surgery Center at 915 N. Lake St., Suite 100, the health center offers a range of medical specialties including orthopedic care, radiology, physical therapy, and an orthopedic urgent care walk-in clinic.
The commitment to expanding expert care and state-of-the-art facilities throughout Northeast Ohio was emphasized by Dr. James Voos, the chair of the UH Department of Orthopedic Surgery. The opening of a retail pharmacy in June will further enhance the services available at the UH Amherst Health Center.
Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Robert Zanotti, who has been a part of the Lorain County community for 27 years, expressed excitement about the opportunity to contribute to the development of this new comprehensive healthcare center. Despite the new campus, the commitment to providing high-quality care and serving the community remains unchanged. The team at University Hospitals looks forward to continuing to support patients and the community for years to come.
