Prefect of Krapina-Zagorje County, Željko Kolar (56), and his wife, Mira Hrbud Kolar, recently welcomed their first grandchild. Their son Maks, a lawyer, and daughter Maja, a doctor, have given birth to a baby girl. The news of the family’s new addition has been met with congratulations from all corners of the community.
Kolar has had a distinguished career in politics. He has been the mayor of Klanjec since 2009 and was elected to the Croatian Parliament in 2011. In addition to his role as Prefect of Krapina-Zagorje County, he has also served as vice president of the Parliamentary Committee for Environment and Nature Protection.
