In May, the St. Mark Lutheran Church in Howard is hosting a free technology class that focuses on online prescription drug resources. This class is specifically designed for individuals aged 50 and older and is led by Mid-State Literacy Council in partnership with Senior Planet from AARP. The purpose of this program is to help older adults develop their online skills, enabling them to effectively research, purchase, and save on prescription drugs using various online tools.
To register for the May 7 class, individuals can email [email protected] or call 814-383-4882. The Mid-State Literacy Council was founded in 1971 and is dedicated to bringing literacy in all its forms to adults in Centre and Clearfield counties.
