The stock market saw a mix of gainers and losers for the day. Greenwave Technology Solutions (GWAV) experienced a 21% increase in its stock price, while Serve Robotics (SERV) also gained 16%. Additionally, AerSale (ASLE) and Plug Power (PLUG) had positive days with increases of 12% and 10% respectively. Vestis (VSTS) rounded out the top gainers with a 9% increase.
On the other hand, several stocks experienced losses during the trading day. Forward Air (FWRD) saw a significant decrease of 22% in its stock price, while Alta Equipment Group (ALTG) and BGSF (BGSF) both lost 18%. Mingteng International Corporation (MTEN) and Safe & Green Holdings Corp (SGBX) also experienced losses of 16% and 15% respectively.
In terms of sector performance, the S&P 500 Industrials Sector saw an increase of 0.7%, reaching a new high of 1059.63. The Capital Goods sector, which contributes over two-thirds to the index, also saw positive gains with an increase of 0.79%.
