Luxury Car Collection: How One Family Office is Catering to Wealthy Enthusiasts with Exclusive Services and Secure Facilities

For the wealthy, the decision between a $250,000 limited edition Ferrari 812 Competizione or a museum filled with 140 vintage cars is a challenging one. Beat Imwinkelried has established a family office to cater to the needs of car enthusiasts who own classic and luxury vehicles.

Recently, Imwinkelried sold a dark gray Aston Martin DBS Coupé from 2019 for $250,000 to a buyer. The car was displayed in his showroom like a work of art, reflecting his focus on luxury and high-end cars. His dealership, B. I. Collection, resembles a museum more than an auto sales site, with luxury cars presented in a spacious and modern environment.

Imwinkelried deals in top luxury car brands such as Aston Martin, Bugatti, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, and lesser-known classics like De Tomaso and Zagato. The showroom currently features a two-door Koenigsegg coupé priced at $2.5 million. Imwinkelried recognizes that cars can be valuable investments like art and founded the Car Collector’s Family Office to cater to wealthy car collectors’ needs.

The office provides comprehensive services to assist collectors with managing, maintaining, and passing on their collections to the next generation. Imwinkelried caters to clients ranging from lifestyle customers who purchase expensive cars for personal enjoyment to enthusiasts seeking the latest and best cars on the market. Collectors who own dozens or even hundreds of cars require professional handling and specialized services such as storage and transportation.

Imwinkelried’s Car-Safe facility houses up to 89 luxury cars belonging to collectors securely stored and protected from fire hazards in controlled air composition while maintaining unique arrangement of cars on rails reminiscent of car theater setting.

Among notable cars stored in Car-Safe are Formula 1 vehicles owned by Patrick Harmuth, including the car with which Michael Schumacher won his first race in premier class.

Overall, Imwinkelried’s B. I Collection serves diverse clientele of car enthusiasts ranging from lifestyle customers to collectors with extensive car collections by providing specialized services that meet unique needs of his clients in exclusive world high-end car ownership.
