On February 12, at around 4:55 a.m., a man allegedly stole an ATM from a business in Boyce. According to the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office (RPSO), the suspect approached the business in the 5500 block of Old Boyce Road and backed up his black Ford Fusion into it, breaking off the front doors to gain access. Once inside, he took the ATM machine, placed it in his vehicle, and left the building about six minutes later.
The suspect’s black Ford Fusion sustained heavy damage to its rear and is missing side mirrors. It lost its rear bumper and several undercarriage items as well. The RPSO is investigating the burglary and seeking any information related to the incident. The suspect is wanted for simple burglary, theft, and criminal damage to property.
