New Ulm Cathedral senior Kiah Helget had an impressive performance on the softball field on Monday at Harman Park. She hit a two-run home run against Nicollet, leading the Greyhounds to a 16-0 victory in just four innings. The game ended early due to the 15-run lead rule. Helget went 4 for 4 with four RBIs.
In a quick interview, Helget revealed some of her favorites. Her favorite food is chicken from Raising Cane’s, and her favorite movie is “The Maze Runner,” specifically the first one. When she’s not on the softball field, she enjoys reading and lifting weights.
Helget mentioned Simone Biles as her favorite athlete, admiring her skills in gymnastics. As for her favorite animal, she expressed a love for Golden Retrievers, although she has yet to convince her parents to get one for her.
