rewrite this title Super Bowl 2024: Chiefs’ Kadarius Toney expected to be a healthy scratch against 49ers

Kadarius Toney, the wide receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs, will not be active for Super Bowl LVIII unless something unexpected happens. Toney, who made a significant play in last year’s Super Bowl LVII, has faced some setbacks this season, including injuries and personal reasons that have kept him off the field since Week 15. This year, he has struggled with a low number of catches and a high drop rate compared to other receivers.

Super Bowl LVIII can be viewed on CBS and Nickelodeon and streamed on Paramount+. In Week 1, Toney’s mistake resulted in a touchdown for the Lions, and his errors only added to the challenges he faced later on. An Instagram Live rant before the AFC Championship Game highlighted the difficulties Toney has been facing, calling into question his trustworthiness with the Chiefs.

Despite his recent struggles, Toney was able to make a memorable play in last year’s Super Bowl with the Giants. However, given his challenging season this year and with his contract up next year, there is a possibility that he may not return to the Chiefs after this season.
