Justin Allgaier has signed an extension to continue racing for JR Motorsports in the 2024 Xfinity Series season. He produced the announcement right after securing his 22nd profession win at Bristol Motor Speedway. Though Allgaier revealed that he had signed the deal earlier in the week, JR Motorsports had not officially announced the news at that time. Allgaier also confirmed that Brandt Specialist Agriculture, a extended-time companion, will continue to help him. According to a press release from JR Motorsports, Brandt will serve as the major sponsor for 20 races and as an associate companion for the rest of the season.
Expressing his gratitude for the group and Brandt Specialist Agriculture, Allgaier produced the announcement from Victory Lane, stating that the 2024 season will see him back in the No. 7 Chevrolet. With 432 Xfinity begins, Allgaier joined JR Motorsports in 2016 right after previously racing for Group Penske, Turner Motorsports, and HScott Motorsports. Taking more than the No. 7 entry, he has regularly performed effectively and been a contender in the playoffs. The majority of his profession wins, 19 out of 22, have come even though driving the No. 7 car or truck, and he has completed inside the best 4 in the championship standings 5 occasions.
JR Motorsports has now confirmed 3 of its drivers for the 2024 season. Sam Mayer will return to the No. 1 car or truck, Brandon Jones will continue in the No. 9, and Allgaier will be back in the No. 7. The No. eight car or truck remains an open seat, as Josh Berry will be leaving to move up to the Cup Series and join Stewart-Haas Racing Ford as their No. four driver.
