Juan Thornhill to miss Thursday practice due to calf injury

Browns security Juan Thornhill will not participate in practice on Thursday, continuing to be sidelined due to a calf injury. This comes immediately after he missed the season opener as effectively. Head coach Kevin Stefanski referred to Thornhill’s status as “day-to-day” through his press conference. In spite of signing with the Browns in March immediately after winning Super Bowl LVII with the Chiefs, Thornhill has been unable to take the field. In his absence, veteran Rodney McLeod began and helped safe Cleveland’s 24-three victory more than Cincinnati. On top of that, defensive tackle Maurice Hurst will also be absent from Thursday’s practice due to a hamstring injury. The Browns are set to face the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday evening in Week two.
