Jamie Foxx Explains Hospitalization Due to Severe Headache in 2023

Jamie Foxx’s Health Crisis: A Year Later, He Opens Up

It has been more than a year since Jamie Foxx was hospitalized due to a medical complication, and the details of his health crisis remain undisclosed to the public. However, in recent interviews, Foxx has shared some information with fans about his experience while chatting with them outside a hotel in Phoenix.

In an exclusive interview, Foxx revealed that the medical emergency began with a bad headache on April 11 last year. He asked a friend for an Advil, but his memory of the events that followed is virtually nonexistent. He spent 20 days in the hospital without any recollection of what happened during that time. Foxx mentioned that his sister and daughter took him to a doctor in Atlanta, where he received a cortisone shot after the doctor noticed something concerning in his head.

The actor teased that he plans to open up about his health crisis soon, in a funny and entertaining way on stage. Foxx hinted that the show would be called “What Had Happened Was” and would touch on the events that occurred in his community during his time of need.

In a video update last July, Foxx acknowledged the emotional journey he had gone through during his recovery, expressing that he didn’t want fans to see him in a vulnerable state. His daughter Corinne had previously announced his hospitalization while filming a Netflix movie with Cameron Diaz in Atlanta.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding his health crisis, Foxx’s openness to sharing his experience and progress with his fans is admirable and shows his resilience in the face of adversity. We can only hope for his continued recovery and well-being in the future.
