Jackson Walker partner Jennifer F. Wertz recently presented at The University of Texas School of Law’s 37th Annual Technology Law Conference. Her presentation, titled “A Technology-Focused Introduction to Bankruptcy & Insolvency,” provided valuable insights on key concepts in bankruptcy and insolvency, including protectionist and opportunistic strategies. In addition to Jennifer’s involvement, Jackson Walker partner Jonathan E. Lass served as a presiding officer for the conference and co-authored an article featured in the course materials.
Jonathan is an Austin-based partner at Jackson Walker, specializing in technology outsourcing and mergers and acquisitions transactions. He works with government agencies acquiring mission-critical technology and advises private sector clients on strategic acquisitions, purchase and sale of businesses and assets, and technology procurement.
