Welcome to the Barbie land, exactly where all the things is pink and vibrant and delighted till it is not. In the key trailer of Greta Gerwig’s Barbie film, walking, speaking Barbie doll Margot Robbie provides us a tour of her fabulous globe exactly where all the things is image-great – they are all playing and dancing about. “This is the finest day ever. So was yesterday and so is tomorrow,” says Margot Robbie. Small does she know what life has in shop for her. One particular fine day, she realises that her heels are on the ground ( just Barbie land difficulties). She is then provided a selection – to go back to her frequent life or know the truth about the universe – she picks the former (virtually). Just after considerably ado, Barbie enters the actual globe with Ken (Ryan Gosling) by her side.

The actual globe is not how Barbie pictured it to be – stares from folks, uncomfortable conditions, punches, mugshots, dramatic chase sequences. To sum it up, it is going to be a single helluva ride. The makers wrote in the trailer, “If you enjoy Barbie, this film is for you. If you hate Barbie, this film is for you.”

The film also stars Dua Lipa, Simu Liu, Ariana Greenblatt, Michael Cera and Emma Mackey amongst other folks.

The initial teaser of the film released final year and it designed a lot of buzz. The video paid homage to the iconic scene from Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey. The film’s director Greta Gerwig took a leaf from the “Dawn of Man” sequence from the 1968 film. The trailer showcased young girls playing with their child dolls accompanied by Helen Mirren’s voiceover: “Due to the fact the starting of time, considering the fact that the initial small girl ever existed, there have been dolls. But the dolls have been generally and forever child dolls till…” Enter Barbie.

Barbie will hit the theatres on July 21. The film will clash with yet another huge Hollywood project at the box workplace – Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, featuring Robert Downey Jr, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, James Remar, Cillian Murphy, Gary Oldman, David Krumholtz, Florence Pugh and Kenneth Branagh amongst other stars.
