Panel Discussion on Women in Business Hosted by Saint Vincent College

A free presentation on issues concerning women in business will take place at Saint Vincent College on Tuesday. The event will start at 6:30 p.m. in the Robert S. Carey Student Center lounge on the college’s campus in Unity. The event is happening in honor of International Women’s History Month and is open to everyone. There is no need for advance registration to attend.

The panel discussion will feature four members, including Abby Geisel, a Saint Vincent alumna and manager of video and email experience at FedEx. Taleesha Johnson, another alumna, is the co-owner of the photo booth company Picturesque PGH. Victoria Piekut Bobak, the CEO and co-founder of Wight Elephant Boutique, and Laurie Havrisko, the assistant to the superintendent for student services at Greater Latrobe School District, will also be part of the panel.

Abby Geisel has over a decade of experience in marketing and communications and participated in the 2021 International Women’s Forum Global Conference. Taleesha Johnson is actively involved in supporting the Pittsburgh Promise scholarship program and is a member of the Saint Vincent College Alumni Council. Victoria Piekut Bobak started her clothing store in her college apartment and has achieved $2 million in sales by 2023. Laurie Havrisko has worked in public education for 17 years and is currently pursuing a doctorate in community engagement.
