SIDNEY — A industrial fire triggered more than $150,000 in damages to a neighborhood Sidney business enterprise Wednesday evening.

The Sidney Fire Division responded to a fire alarm in the 1200 block of Wapakoneta Avenue at eight:38 p.m., a spokesperson for the division stated.
When firefighters arrived on scene, they identified Elsner Painting, the neighborhood business enterprise occupying the space, in flames. Lockington Fire, Anna Fire, and Piqua Fire subsequently assisted in this fire attack.
Initially responders forced their way into the creating via the major door and initiated an interior fire attack even though “simultaneously positioning the aerial apparatus to get access to the attic space,” the spokesperson stated.
